Registered Kinesiologist

Responsibilities

• Empower and support clients through recovery using hands-on knowledge and skills
• Treat orthopedic disorders, chronic pain, and facilitate rehabilitation and return to work for injured workers
• Perform clinical assessments for concussion, chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and mental health
• Collaborate with clients and treatment teams to reach functional and work reintegration potential
• Perform cross-functional and cross-site duties as assigned

Requirements

• University Degree in Kinesiology as required by the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Certificate of Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Two years of related experience in assessment and treatment of MSK injuries and chronic pain
• Knowledge of active rehab protocols
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injured worker populations, functional testing, and return to work planning
• Experience in the disability management field
• FAE and Return to work planning skills
• Experience in the third-party health care system or MVA cases
