About the role
Responsibilities
- Writing and updating care plans for patients
- Observing and recording the condition of patients
- Providing pre- and post-operation care
- Carrying out routine investigations and care procedures such as administering medication, injections, and intravenous infusions
- Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures
- Coordinating and managing care while working with health and social care professionals
- Supervising junior staff
- Advocating on behalf of patients
- Setting up drips and blood transfusions
- Providing advice and promoting good health
- Making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality
- Providing information, emotional support, and reassurance to patients and relatives
Requirements
- NMC Registration (minimum 6 months)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
- Compliance with framework requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References, and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK
