Registered ECE - In Home Tutor

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge based on the Ontario curriculum
• Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material
• Provide remedial and enrichment support for students
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress

Requirements

• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, or qualified to teach in another Canadian Province/Territory or the United States
• Current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College
• Energetic and enthusiastic teaching style
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
