Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing monitoring for residents and patients
• Ensure therapeutic diets are implemented accurately and consistently across the facility
• Provide nutrition counseling to residents, families, and care teams
• Partner with culinary leadership to develop menus that meet nutritional, regulatory, and therapeutic standards
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS standards
• Provide training to culinary and nursing teams on therapeutic diets, food allergies, and dysphagia management
• Monitor nutrition-related indicators such as weight changes, intake, labs, and hydration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics (Master's degree preferred)
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

• Previous experience working in senior living or a healthcare setting
