Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional services and education for in-center and home dialysis patients to improve clinical outcomes
• Conduct nutritional assessments and participate in interdisciplinary comprehensive assessments
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in accordance with Federal and state guidelines
• Calculate diet prescriptions and monitor patient adherence to nutrition therapy
• Identify malnourished patients and collaborate with the healthcare team on appropriate interventions
• Review nutrition-related lab results and communicate findings to patients, families, and physicians
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation according to company and regulatory policies
• Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) activities

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Current state licensure (where applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSRN)
• Previous experience in renal nutrition
