Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional services and education for in-center and home dialysis patients to improve clinical outcomes.
• Conduct nutritional assessments and participate in interdisciplinary comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address patient nutritional needs and manage kidney disease.
• Calculate diet prescriptions and monitor adherence to nutrition therapy.
• Identify malnourished patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement interventions.
• Review nutrition-related lab results and communicate findings to patients, families, and physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
• Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) activities.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential as per the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship development skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition.
• Previous experience in renal nutrition.
