Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional services and education for in-center and home dialysis patients to improve clinical outcomes.
• Conduct nutritional assessments and participate in interdisciplinary comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
• Calculate diet prescriptions and monitor patient adherence to nutrition therapy.
• Identify malnourished patients and collaborate with the healthcare team on appropriate interventions.
• Review nutrition-related lab results and communicate findings to patients, families, and physicians.
• Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) activities and staff meetings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation according to company and regulatory policies.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential as per the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition.
• Current state licensure (where applicable).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship development skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition.
• Previous experience in renal nutrition.
