Registered Dental Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain high standards of care for patients with physical disabilities and complex medical conditions
• Liaise and support the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) in a flexible manner
• Provide patient assistance including treatment and care adhering to nursing procedures
• Prepare surgery and maintain necessary instruments and equipment
• Undertake care and cleaning of instruments following infection control standards

Requirements

• Registered Dental Nurse with current GDC registration
• Experience in all clinical aspects of Dental Nursing
• Recent or current experience working in a clinical dental setting
• Up to date CPD portfolio and PD plan
• Strong knowledge of infection control
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oral Surgery, advanced restorative dentistry, or orthodontics
• Previous hospital experience or experience with cancer patients
• Post qualification certificates in radiology, orthodontics, implantology, oral health education, or special care
