Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Provide vital dental care including thorough cleanings, patient education, and periodontal assessments
• Educate and motivate patients about maintaining oral health to promote preventive care
• Document patient interactions and maintain detailed dental records
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop tailored treatment plans
• Perform expanded functions such as restorative care, anesthesia administration, and taking final impressions under appropriate supervision

Requirements

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Clean driver's license and clean driving record
• Proficiency with dental hygiene instruments and technologies (ultrasonic scalers, digital radiography)
• Familiarity with dental software for patient record management
• Ability to perform restorative care, administer local anesthetics, and take final impressions
