Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Set up and break down operatory stations post-treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions and educate them on oral hygiene strategies

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certificate in California
• X-ray certification as required by state regulations
• Ability to stand, lean, and bend for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of prior dental assistant experience
• Experience using Dentrix
• Experience with Invisalign and iTero scanning
