Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting, and verify codes
• Capture quality x-ray images and assist dentists with treatment procedures
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms
• Discuss treatment options, importance, and follow-up care with patients and parents
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement with required certifications
• Support patient appointment scheduling and guide patients through post-care instructions
• Sterilize instruments and adhere to cross-contamination and HIPAA guidelines
• Create positive patient environments through engagement before, during, and after visits

Requirements

• Texas Registered Dental Assistant license
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter with initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with excellent customer service skills
