Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting, and verify codes
• Capture quality x-ray images and assist dentists during treatment procedures
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms following cross-contamination standards
• Discuss treatment options and recommended follow-up care with patients
• Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement with required certifications
• Support patient appointment scheduling and guide patients through post-care instructions
• Create positive patient environments through engagement before, during, and after visits
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain professional patient relationships

Requirements

• Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant license
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
• High attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications
