Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions
• Greet and prepare patients for exams, including digital charting and code verification
• Capture quality x-ray images
• Assist with various treatment procedures
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms
• Discuss treatment options and follow-up care with patients
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement
• Sterilize instruments following cross-contamination standards
• Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
• Experience with digital x-ray and digital charting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Sealant Placement certification
• Nitrous Monitoring certification
• Coronal Polishing certification
