Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with dental procedures using proper terminology, materials, medications, and instruments
• Clean, sterilize instruments, and set up trays for efficient operations
• Maintain and test equipment including sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, and x-ray processor
• Pour models and conduct other dental lab procedures
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in patient records
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory
• Follow protective protocols to ensure personal and team safety

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Dental Assistant
• X-Ray license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work 2 Saturdays per month
• Must love working with children

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Upbeat personality
