Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to pediatric and adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a clinic-based environment
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect and submit clinical data to track patient progress over time
• Communicate professionally with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Provide behavioral support during speech and occupational therapy sessions
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Obtain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in psychology, special education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, child development, social work, or counseling
• Background as a paraprofessional, teacher, caregiver, nanny, coach, tutor, or camp counselor
• Passionate about helping children with autism and their families thrive
