Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to pediatric and adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a clinic-based environment
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
• Collect data and submit clinical documentation to track patient progress
• Communicate professionally with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Provide behavioral support within speech or occupational therapy sessions
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Obtain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completed high school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in psychology, special education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, child development, social work, or counseling
• Experience working with children, such as in teaching, caregiving, tutoring, or camp counseling
