Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to pediatric and adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a clinic-based setting
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect data and submit clinical documentation to track patient progress
• Communicate professionally with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Provide behavioral support within speech or occupational therapy sessions
• Obtain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 60 days of hire
• Passion for helping children with autism and their families thrive

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (completed or in progress) in psychology, special education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, child development, social work, or counseling
• Experience as a paraprofessional, teacher, caregiver, nanny, tutor, coach, or camp counselor
