Registered Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, naturalistic therapy services within a clinic-based environment
• Track patient progress over time by collecting data and submitting clinical documentation
• Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as outlined by your BCBA Supervisor
• Communicate professionally and consistently with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Adhere to patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines
• Provide behavioral support within speech or occupational therapy sessions
• Obtain RBT Certification within your first 60 days of employment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Passion for helping families with autism thrive
• Dependable, creative, innovative, and energetic

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (or in progress) in Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, Social Work, or Counseling
• Experience as a paraprofessional, nanny, caregiver, teacher, coach, or tutor
