Registered Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to pediatric and adolescent patients with autism in a clinic setting
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
• Collect and submit clinical data to track patient progress over time
• Communicate professionally with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Support speech and occupational therapy sessions with behavioral interventions
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Obtain RBT Certification within the first 60 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (in progress or completed) in psychology, special education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, child development, social work, or counseling
• Background working with children as a paraprofessional, nanny, caregiver, teacher, tutor, or camp counselor
