About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training under BCBA/BC guidance
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy environments
- Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC
Requirements
- Current RBT certification or willingness to complete 40-hour training and pass competency exam within 45 days
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license where required
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR, First Aid, and current TB test (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on the floor, and move quickly for client safety
- Proficiency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
- Professional presentation, conduct, and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Behavioral Technician, teacher’s aide, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
- Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
