About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community
- Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement
- Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team to support each child's progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in human services preferred
- Comfort working with children and ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients' families
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete company-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire
