Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the Company

FronteraCare delivers life-changing autism services to children and families across New Mexico and Colorado. We provide high quality diagnostic evaluations and ABA therapy, partnering closely with parents and caregivers to create individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy
• Create engaging and effective learning experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their potential
• Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan
• Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition and functional communication
• Collaborate with families to implement strategies at home and in the community

Requirements

• High school graduation (Diploma or GED)
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors/child-sized furniture, and move quickly from seated to running stance

Preferred Qualifications

• College enrollment or degree
• Existing RBT certification
