Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician (BT)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, naturalistic, play-based ABA therapy services within a clinic-based environment
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as outlined by the BCBA Supervisor
• Track patient progress by collecting data and submitting clinical documentation
• Communicate professionally and consistently with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Adhere to patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines
• Obtain RBT Certification within the first 60 days of employment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to obtain RBT Certification within 60 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (or degree in progress) in Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, Social Work, or Counseling
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, nanny, caregiver, teacher, coach, or camp counselor
