Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients receiving ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Implement behavior programming to improve communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collect electronic data and complete daily session notes in relevant databases
• Maintain open communication with BCBA regarding client progress
• Provide therapy in center, home, school, and community settings
• Travel to multiple locations throughout the workday as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, crouch, run, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Complete 40-hour RBT training and pass BACB RBT exam within 30 days if not certified
• Complete CPR training within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities
• Experience working with children ages 1-8
