About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting
- Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills
- Relay progress information to BCBAs to assist with assessments
- Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach data collection system
- Maintain session notes and clocking procedures in alignment with ABA and insurance regulations
- Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing
- Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run
- Ability to work with computers
- Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- Consistent availability Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications
- RBT certification
- TRICARE certification
- Background in child care, teaching, counseling, or babysitting
- Bachelor's degree in Pediatrics, Human Development, or Biology
- First Aid and CPR certification
