About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting
  • Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills
  • Relay progress information to BCBAs to assist with assessments
  • Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach data collection system
  • Maintain session notes and clocking procedures in alignment with ABA and insurance regulations
  • Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing
  • Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run
  • Ability to work with computers
  • Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
  • Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
  • Consistent availability Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

  • RBT certification
  • TRICARE certification
  • Background in child care, teaching, counseling, or babysitting
  • Bachelor's degree in Pediatrics, Human Development, or Biology
  • First Aid and CPR certification
