About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism in 1:1 and group settings
  • Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training under BCBA/BC supervision
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
  • Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as directed

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification or willingness to complete 40-hour training and pass the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance where required
  • Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a current TB test
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move quickly, and repeatedly transition from floor to standing
  • Proficiency using mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
  • Professional presentation, conduct, and strong written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
  • Prior role as a behavioral technician, teacher’s aide, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
