About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
  • Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols outlined in individualized treatment plans
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
  • Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC

Requirements

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and annual tuberculosis (TB) test
  • Ability to pass a company background check
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, stand, run, and move quickly for child safety
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Competency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a behavioral technician, teacher’s aid, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
  • Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
