About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols outlined in individualized treatment plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
- Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC
Requirements
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and annual tuberculosis (TB) test
- Ability to pass a company background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, stand, run, and move quickly for child safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Competency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a behavioral technician, teacher’s aid, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
- Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
