About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols
- Complete documentation on time and communicate client progress to parents/caregivers as instructed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
- Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments
Requirements
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and minimum age of 18
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and annual tuberculosis (TB) test
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, run, and move quickly for child safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Technology proficiency to record data on mobile devices and navigate digital applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Cultural competency with flexibility and open-mindedness
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Behavioral Technician, Teacher's Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide
- Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
