Registered Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
• Complete documentation on time and per established procedures
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized therapy environments
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments

Requirements

• Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Willingness to obtain annual tuberculosis (TB) test
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, stand, and move quickly as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Proficiency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Successful completion of company background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a behavioral technician, teacher's aid, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
• Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
