About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
- Complete documentation on time and per established procedures
- Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized therapy environments
- Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments
Requirements
- Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain annual tuberculosis (TB) test
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, stand, and move quickly as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Successful completion of company background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a behavioral technician, teacher's aid, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
- Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
