Registered Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training
• Ensure timely documentation following established procedures
• Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials and assessments

Requirements

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete 40-hour ABA training and exam within 45 days
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and physically perform tasks like getting on/off the floor
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB testing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Proficiency with mobile devices for data recording

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Behavioral Technician, Teacher's Aid, Tutor, CNA, or Caregiver
• Experience working with children with autism or learning disabilities
