Registered Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy
• Support the educational experience by assisting in the classroom setting
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their potential
• Complete daily progress notes related to intervention plan implementation
• Foster an environment for skill acquisition and functional communication

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit on floors or child-sized furniture
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• College enrollment or degree
• Previous experience in ABA or childcare
