About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement ABA strategies to decrease maladaptive behaviors and teach appropriate replacement skills as designed by BCBAs
- Provide direct ABA services to clients with Autism and related developmental disorders
- Teach and promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a play setting
- Collect and record objective daily data to reflect client progress
- Work collaboratively with the MeBe ABA and supervisory team
- Provide break and meal coverage for center RBTs and sub-sessions for center clients
- Attend BT sessions to provide additional support for difficult cases or new BTs
- Serve as a cultural ambassador for other BTs
Requirements
- Current RBT certification
- High School Diploma
- Consistent availability from 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm Monday through Friday
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run
- Must have been employed at MeBe for a minimum of 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
