About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build deep technical and executive relationships with strategic customers to ensure paid support programs serve current and future workloads.
  • Accountable for Customer Satisfaction, retention, and successful post-sales delivery of paid support engagements.
  • Lead the DSE team's contribution to the proactive, advisory-led support model, including architectural reviews and risk assessments.
  • Partner with Snowflake field teams on post-go-live consumption health and identify architectural opportunities to expand value.
  • Own the regional sales cycle for paid support programs, partnering with Sales VPs and Solutions Engineering Directors.
  • Lead the Go-to-Market motion for paid support, including attach to net-new deals and expansion within the existing customer base.
  • Build, hire, and lead the regional Priority Support team, including Designated Support Engineers and front-line managers.
  • Lead the DSE team as an AI-native function, setting the standard for AI-augmented engagement delivery and predictive workload analysis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise customer-facing roles (leading premium support/technical advisory OR senior field sales/engineering).
  • Proven track record of owning revenue targets tied to attach, expansion, or renewal.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-layered organizations in high-growth SaaS or cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data management, analytics, AI, or cloud computing.
  • Experience managing commercial targets while working with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, product, etc.).
  • Experience leading teams or customer engagements using AI-native or AI-augmented approaches.
  • Executive-level communication skills with confidence presenting to C-level audiences.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience scaling a designated engineer, solutions architect, or premium support program at a cloud data platform or hyperscaler.
  • Internal Snowflake field experience (Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architect).
  • Strong program, project, and process management skills.
