About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to exceed annual revenue targets and expand market share in the Northeast
- Recruit, train, and manage a network of independent agents and distributors
- Build relationships with specification teams to ensure product integration into project designs
- Analyze regional sales data and KPIs to identify emerging trends and market shifts
- Act as a liaison between field sales and manufacturing to resolve delivery or quality challenges
- Monitor competitor activity and regional construction trends
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within lighting, electrical, or related industries
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven ability to influence independent rep, distributor, and contractor networks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
- Ability to travel up to 80% overnight
- Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance
