About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to exceed annual revenue targets and expand market share in the Northeast
  • Recruit, train, and manage a network of independent agents and distributors
  • Build relationships with specification teams to ensure product integration into project designs
  • Analyze regional sales data and KPIs to identify emerging trends and market shifts
  • Act as a liaison between field sales and manufacturing to resolve delivery or quality challenges
  • Monitor competitor activity and regional construction trends

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within lighting, electrical, or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven ability to influence independent rep, distributor, and contractor networks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to travel up to 80% overnight
  • Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance
