About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Account Executives within the FSI team to exceed revenue goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand Anaplan's footprint in new and existing accounts across Japan.
- Drive net ARR growth through new bookings, expansions, upsells, and renewals while maintaining high customer retention.
- Manage daily and weekly activities, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and closing current-quarter deals.
- Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent to build a high-performing team.
- Coach and train the team on sales methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and best-practice sharing.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading or driving Enterprise software sales in the Japanese market.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep proficiency in demonstrating and discussing SaaS/cloud-based software with business leaders.
- Expertise in teaching and coaching formal sales methodologies.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required throughout the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success selling to Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales Operations organizations.
- Experience leading a software company into new geographic territories.
