About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Account Executives within the FSI team to exceed revenue goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand Anaplan's footprint in new and existing accounts across Japan.
  • Drive net ARR growth through new bookings, expansions, upsells, and renewals while maintaining high customer retention.
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and closing current-quarter deals.
  • Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Coach and train the team on sales methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and best-practice sharing.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading or driving Enterprise software sales in the Japanese market.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep proficiency in demonstrating and discussing SaaS/cloud-based software with business leaders.
  • Expertise in teaching and coaching formal sales methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success selling to Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales Operations organizations.
  • Experience leading a software company into new geographic territories.
