Regional Strategy, Planning and Optimization Leader- APAC

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic advisory consulting business for the APAC region, focusing on expanding the Strategy Planning & Optimization (SPO) solution business.
• Drive the acquisition of new clients and engagements through effective Go-to-Market strategies and roadshows.
• Act as Project Director for high-level consulting mandates, overseeing scoping, pricing, and proposal development.
• Lead the delivery of complex engagements involving decarbonization, net-zero strategies, market entry studies, and policy advocacy.
• Provide thought leadership and technical industry expertise to contribute to all engagement phases.
• Manage client relationships and ensure quality control on all key deliverables.
• Mentor and guide project managers and team members to enhance regional consulting capabilities.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years leading strategic advisory projects as a Project Director.
• At least 70% of total professional experience must be within the power, energy, or water sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proven track record in leading solutioning and delivery for decarbonization and business case studies.
• Ability to travel up to 100% to meet client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduation in Business Management (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in business development.
• Existing leadership-level relationships with large energy utilities in Southeast Asia.
• Experience working in multiple Southeast Asian countries, specifically the Philippines and Indonesia.
• Advanced skills in project management, negotiation, and people management.
