About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for safety and security operations within the assigned region
- Lead and oversee on-site security operations during weekend services and special events
- Recruit, lead, coach, and pastor Safety & Security Volunteers
- Lead response to medical emergencies, behavioral disruptions, and critical incidents
- Oversee security technology including surveillance systems, radios, and access control
- Partner with Campus Pastors and Operations Directors to integrate safety into campus life
Requirements
- Experience leading teams and managing operations
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Minimum age of 21
- Ability to maintain firearms training and qualification per policy
- Physical ability to perform active security duties including standing, walking, and lifting
- Proficiency with security systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Ministry, or a related field
- Significant experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security operations
