Regional Scientific Lead, MENA and Eurasia

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of regional medical innovation strategies aligned with global priorities and regional healthcare needs.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with regional and international key external experts, scientific societies, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Drive medical input into launch readiness, lifecycle management, and evidence generation activities for innovative therapies.
• Serve as a regional scientific expert and trusted advisor for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality scientific exchange and evidence-based medical communication across the region.
• Identify opportunities to advance patient care through innovative medical initiatives, digital solutions, and partnership models.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Clinical Development teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Ensure all activities adhere to company business policies, SOPs, applicable regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor, Doctorate, or Bachelor’s in Medicine, or a Clinical Pharmacist.
• Minimum 10 years of medical affairs experience within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in another local language is desirable.
• Ability to travel extensively across the MENA and Eurasia region.
• Strong knowledge of research, good clinical practice, and health economics.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
