Regional Sales Manager, Retail Investments

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and sales support to the assigned retail distribution channel region regarding Retail Investments products
• Create and manage relationships within the retail distribution channel to ensure optimum product representation
• Identify and deliver product-specific training to the sales force
• Collaborate with Product Delivery Groups to establish requirements for sales tools, training, and process development
• Monitor sales and service targets against branch plans to identify gaps and best practices
• Optimize local market opportunities through effective interaction between the Distribution Channel and other divisional groups
• Develop and implement annual territory business plans and manage assigned territorial budgets
• Represent Retail Investments at local market functions and industry conferences

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Planning or Branch Management
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingualism in French and English is required
• Completion of IFIC or CSC certification
• In-depth knowledge of investment products, markets, and sales strategies
• Strong understanding of the competitive marketplace and retail investment trends
• Ability to resolve complex and ambiguous issues autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of IQPF, CIM, FCSI, or CFA designations
