Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target food industries and drive revenue growth
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing clientele, cold calling, and networking
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food industry
• Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
• Manage and provide leadership to a group of sales representatives
• Collaborate with internal marketing, customer service, and operations teams
• Evaluate market trends and competitor activities to decide on new sales tactics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of sales experience in an ISO 17025:2017 accredited lab specifically for food testing services
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience selling food testing services to the food industry
• Strong existing network of contacts within the food industry
