About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with dealers, dealer sales forces, direct accounts, and end-users across the Central Valley CA region.
- Achieve annual sales and performance goals in alignment with the regional business plan.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with dealers and provide weekly sales forecasts.
- Direct, motivate, and train the dealer sales force to effectively sell Nilfisk, Advance, Clarke, and Viper brands.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through dealer prospect lists and end-user account management.
- Perform building surveys, product demonstrations, and field tests to drive market share.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and integrate daily call activities.
- Resolve sales, product service, and equipment-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, specifically in dealer channel management and end-user account management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and MS Office Suite (including Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to travel overnight and maintain a regular zone travel schedule.
- Ability to transport company products for demonstrations and conduct product seminars/presentations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform gap analyses and implement action plans.
