About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed annual revenue and growth targets
- Manage and coach a team of sales directors to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Attract, retain, and enable a team of experienced sales professionals
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to tailor messaging for the APAC market
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings throughout the region
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility through CRM tools
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform regional and global sales strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field
- 15+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record in enterprise or technical software sales
- 5+ years of experience managing both seasoned and new sales professionals
- Direct experience selling into the aviation or aerospace industry
- Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
- Ability to travel regionally up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling aviation data, flight planning, or operational software solutions
- Existing relationships with key aviation stakeholders in the APAC region
- Knowledge of regional regulatory environments and procurement processes
- Japanese language proficiency
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and SaaS sales models
- Pilot license or general aviation enthusiast
