About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed annual revenue and growth targets
  • Manage and coach a team of sales directors to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
  • Attract, retain, and enable a team of experienced sales professionals
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to tailor messaging for the APAC market
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings throughout the region
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility through CRM tools
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform regional and global sales strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • 15+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record in enterprise or technical software sales
  • 5+ years of experience managing both seasoned and new sales professionals
  • Direct experience selling into the aviation or aerospace industry
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling aviation data, flight planning, or operational software solutions
  • Existing relationships with key aviation stakeholders in the APAC region
  • Knowledge of regional regulatory environments and procurement processes
  • Japanese language proficiency
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and SaaS sales models
  • Pilot license or general aviation enthusiast
