About the role
Responsibilities
- Strategize, develop, and implement business goals, operating plans, and budgets to drive top-line sales and gross profit growth.
- Monitor sales levels within the assigned region and identify specific areas for improvement.
- Prepare and monitor annual sales forecasts and conduct regular Profit and Loss (P&L) reviews.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and management direction to sales account managers and support staff, including performance management and training.
- Create product demand by applying technical market expertise to position the company as a preferred distributor.
- Establish and coordinate weekly meetings for opportunity, registration, and design reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, and technology within the assigned product family.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional work experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time to customer sites and attend training.
