About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure successful market entry
  • Translate national brand strategy into actionable regional business plans
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of 8–12 territory managers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, health systems, and IDNs
  • Partner with Market Access, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to support launch readiness
  • Ensure all regional activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasting, and CRM utilization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience in a district or regional manager role
  • Proven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding performance goals
  • Prior pharmaceutical launch experience required
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • First-launch or startup biotech experience
  • Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, or hypertension specialty markets
