About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure successful market entry
- Translate national brand strategy into actionable regional business plans
- Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of 8–12 territory managers
- Develop relationships with healthcare providers, health systems, and strategic accounts
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to support launch readiness
- Ensure regional activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Manage regional budgets, forecasting, and CRM reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience
- 3+ years of people leadership experience in a district or regional manager role
- Proven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding performance goals
- Prior pharmaceutical launch experience required
- Willingness to travel up to 60% within the region
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- First-launch or startup biotech experience
- Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, or hypertension markets
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing top talent
