About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily tasks and projects for the Americas embedded program to mitigate platform risks.
  • Lead the investigations team in monitoring and mitigating risks related to organized crime, human trafficking, and other criminal activities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in product development and quality, ensuring high standards and timely project completion.
  • Prioritize team responsibilities in alignment with client missions and provide mentorship to analysts.
  • Identify programmatic and training needs, including staffing requirements and vendor tool requirements.
  • Work directly on complex cases within the investigations team using data analytics and investigative skills.
  • Adjust procedures, policies, and business practices to meet evolving security needs.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of professional experience in operations, investigations, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Expertise in data analysis, utilizing statistical methods and insights to inform risk management decisions.
  • Previous experience in Trust & Safety, fraud detection, or risk management within a user-centric platform.
  • Proven experience in project management and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Strong intelligence reporting skills, with the ability to deliver comprehensive reports on geopolitical or cyber threats.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex data to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the criminal applications of technology.
  • Proficiency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish.
