Regional Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end, full-cycle recruitment for shipboard roles, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing crew for onboard positions.
• Provide recruitment support across multiple business areas such as Hotel, HR, Entertainment, and Marine & Technical Operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local recruitment partners, manning agencies, and hospitality training institutions throughout Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with the global DCL Talent Connection team to align regional hiring strategies, workforce planning, and candidate pipelines.
• Plan and execute regional recruitment campaigns and outreach strategies tailored to local labor markets and cultural nuances.
• Represent Disney Cruise Line as a brand ambassador at regional job fairs, industry events, and university recruitment activities.
• Utilize recruitment systems and tools to manage candidate data, track pipelines, and monitor hiring progress.
• Travel extensively within Southeast Asia and internationally to support hiring events and relationship-building.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience leading high-volume or complex recruitment efforts, preferably in hospitality, cruise, maritime, or international staffing.
• Strong understanding of Southeast Asian labor markets, talent pipelines, and regional cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in one or more Southeast Asian languages.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and hiring technology.
• Prior experience in maritime recruitment, cruise industry operations, or shipboard staffing models.
• Experience working with cross-functional and internationally dispersed teams.
