About the role
Responsibilities
- Accelerate Pro-segment growth across big-box retail channels including Lowe's and Home Depot for Larson, Fiberon, and Therma-Tru brands
- Implement Pro-focused programs and promotional initiatives within the retail environment
- Collaborate with Retail Channel Outside Sellers to align on active projects and upcoming opportunities
- Act as a regional expert in blueprint reading and project takeoff execution
- Host region-wide Pro events to deliver product training to retail and distribution partners
- Conduct on-site job visits to support project planning and technical troubleshooting
- Manage large, multi-phase Pro projects from initial quote through to fulfillment
- Drive customer loyalty through Pro rebate contracts and long-term relationship management
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or channel management within building materials or construction industries
- Direct experience working within a retail environment (The Home Depot and/or Lowe's)
- Ability to travel up to 75% throughout the Southeast Sales Region (TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, and FL)
- Proven hunter mentality with a track record of growing business independently
- Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility with contractors, builders, and retail partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Background in doors, decking, or adjacent millwork building products
- Experience working directly with Pro customers such as remodelers and trade professionals
- Experience using CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot
