Regional Operational Risk and Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide regional risk oversight for all local operational risk matters and embed a strong risk culture across the EMEA region.
• Identify, assess, and monitor processes, controls, and risks, maintaining an up-to-date risk register.
• Perform root cause analysis for operational risk events and ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures.
• Lead the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, including maintenance in GRC tools and periodic refresh cycles.
• Conduct control testing activities, identify remediation actions, and lead the evaluation of internal control effectiveness.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations on internal control status for regional committees and senior leadership.
• Oversee changes impacting the entity, such as organizational shifts, to assess and update operational risk implications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in risk, internal audit, compliance, assurance testing, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• A strong interest in financial markets and operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services regulation within the EMEA region.
