Regional Oncology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize the utilization of oncology products in targeted accounts
• Meet or exceed sales objectives through consistent field-based meetings with healthcare providers and staff
• Manage territory effectively by identifying new accounts and driving depth within existing ones
• Leverage clinical and scientific expertise to navigate complex market environments and competitive landscapes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with national opinion leaders in oncology and pathology
• Provide feedback to national, regional, and area teams to support corporate decision-making
• Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement, and patient advocacy groups to ensure product access

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience)
• 6+ years of sales experience promoting complex products in medical oncology or diagnostics
• 2+ years of oncology sales experience (chemo/immunotherapy or diagnostics)
• 4+ years of medical sales experience in specialty areas such as Buy & Bill, Medical Device, or highly clinical specialties
• 4+ years of experience selling in highly competitive environments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel 75% of the time, including potential overnight and weekend travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience
• Established relationships within oncology accounts in the West Palm Beach territory
• Experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers
• Expertise in NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease (MRD), comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, or hereditary cancer
